three things

#1 Can anyone point me in the direction of some good Once More With Feeling icons? I want some to go with my new layout.

#2 I want to edit the original sidebar with the links to my friends page, etc. but when I do that after editing my layers it deletes what I did in advanced customizations. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

#3 To all icon/graphic makers- What program do you use?

#1 Mmmmmmm...OMWF. This is the only one I have:

#3 Fireworks. But for icons Photoshop is better because it uses the brushes people make for icons.

#2. I don't know if you're a member of [livejournal.com profile] jape_answers, but if you are, she is the absolute goddess of all answers regarding LJ. She should be able to help you if you post a comment on her last entry! I hope that helps.

Hey Noelle.. I don't know if my last email sent either, something's wrong with my hotmail so I thought I'd reply here. I'd be happy to help with the community, just let me know what you want for it :)

#2 Ah I probably should have pointed this out at the time.

For each layout you have you can have one user and one theme layer.

User layer should have all the stuff like:
set link_color = "#ff0000";

Theme layer should have:
function Page::print () {
... and everything below that.

You currently have everything in the user layer, so if you make a new theme layer (instructions) and cut everything below the function Page::print () { and put it into the theme layer you should be able to use the customize wizard again.

If that doesn't make sense then I'll use the layer you showed me before to split it up for you.

And for the record, I never mind helping out. Some people give back to fandom through making graphics or writing fic, I help people make their layouts look the way they want :) ... amongst other things *g*

#3 Photoshop - really steep learning curve but totally worth it
