Last night I watched Chance and The Air I Breathe.

Let's talk about Chance first...

Is it terrible to say that James Marsters is a better actor than Amber Benson? That being said, I did like Amber in the movie. Her character gave me a new appreciation, because although I like Tara she was never *GREAT* in my opinion. Um, and the stinky armpits bit? Kinda grossed me out not gonna lie.

After that I watched The Air I Breathe...

Love, love, love, love Sarah Michelle Gellar in this movie. WAS THIS MOVIE IN THEATERS?? Because I sure as hell don't remember it, and it was only four years ago. There were a ton of awesome actors in it (Brendan Fraser, Andy Garcia, Forest Whitacer, EMILE HIRSCH!, and although I usually don't like him Kevin Bacon was all right in this movie). It had that whole Crash vibe where everyone's interconnected. I thought it was well acted and pretty powerful. Anyone else see this movie? I'm on a total SMG kick right now, my next movie to watch is Southland Tales.

Speaking of SMG...Is anyone watching Ringer? I have to say it is definitely getting better with each episode. I thought that I would be shipping Henry/BridgetasShioban because I love Kristoffer Polaha, but strangely enough the Brits win again and I'm starting to ship Andrew/BridgetasShioban. I really don't have a lot of love for Shoiban. Maybe it's because they've done nothing to build up her character? Ringer is like Gossip Girl for adults and I LOVE GOSSIP GIRL! Amber Benson is going to guest star in the 10th episode. Hopefully Ringer starts doing better in the ratings.

The Air I Breathe is such a good movie, I don't believe it was ever in theaters. I love Sarah, she's one of my favorite actresses, but her movies aren't always great. I'm surprised that I ended up liking this one as much as I did. As for Southland Tales, that was a train wreck. Awful movie for such an amazing cast, but I only watched for Sarah.

I enjoyed Chance, from what I can remember of it. Amber and James were great together, and I can't wait to see her on Ringer. I'm really enjoying the show so far.

Will admit I have only seen Chance once. I loved Tara's character, but this film was a bit off-beat ... even for me. Yes, James was wonderful (but I may be biased!)

Haven't seen Sarah in anything other than BtVS ... I must watch her at some point.

I am loving the Ringer. I think its fantastic. I love how the twins interact and how different their characters are. She is wonderful in the series! I haven't seen either of the movie you posted but I may have to check them out.

Nah, you're right, James is a better actor than Amber. They did have terrific chemistry, though.

I'm not too picky when it comes to my shows, and I love SMG so I'm not giving up on Ringer like I know a lot of people have. I'm actually liking it, as I said in my post it reminds me of a Gossip Girl for adults. I saw SMG on Regis & Kelly and she said there's plot for 3 seasons right now, so hopefully it stays on for that long!

BTW I saw on your LJ that you've been gone for two years...I can top that, I was gone for 5! The fandom is a lot different than I remember it. A lot of members that were very active are no longer around, unfortunately :( Good to see you back!

They really did! I don't know this for a fact, but you could tell they are friends.

Ah, that could be why I don't remember it! I've heard nothing but bad things about Southland Tales, but I'm going to give it a shot just to watch all of SMG's movies. I Know What You Did Last Summer is going to be on Max a lot. I like that movie, but I usually turn it off after SMG has been killed LOL because I'm not huge fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt.

You should definitely check out Ringer...it's getting better I promise!!

nvrbnkisst vidded for that movie a few years ago - it's so good, you'd never know the song and the movie are unrelated...

Seeing her get killed and not kick some ass is always hard, but I do like that movie. I'm a fan of Jennifer as well, used to love Ghost Whisperer.

Yeah, Sarah is really the only reason to bother with watching Southland Tales. I'm also a big Mandy Moore fan, so that was just an added bonus.
