I recently started a Dawson's Creek re-watch and I'm up to season 3. I watched DC way back when it first aired, and apparently there is a huge difference between teeny bopper me's opinion and grown up me's opinion. I remember being such a Dawson/Joey shipper. It honestly ruined the show for me that they spent so much time apart. And I absolutely could not stand Pacey/Joey.

This time around my opinions couldn't be more different!! Dawson is so whiny and melodramatic, which is exactly what he's supposed to be, but I do not see how I ever found that attractive. In no way, shape or form do I want Joey with Dawson. I'm really looking forward to her and Pacey hooking up...and the hours, and hours of fic in my future!

Also, I could not stand Jen. It's not so bad this time, except the radical change from season one to season two still annoyed me. She was super cute in the first season, and then it was like they really wanted to play up the angsty teen from NY so she had to cut off her hair and wear a leather jacket all the time.

I do love her and Jack's friendship which has just really started in my re-watch.

So basically I have to apologize to all my friends who are Pacey/Joey shippers because I've totally been side-eye judging you in private. I'm crossing over to your side now!!

THREE DAYS. I am beyond geektastically excited at this point. I'm going to see it in the theater plus I've already pre-ordered it on iTunes for download. (Don't judge me.) In reading some of the reviews from the premiere, it seems that fans are very happy. Do we think this has anything to do with Veronica/Logan?

I've been reading a lot of fic, and a common theme in a few of them is Veronica holding a (deserved) grudge against Dick for his part in her rape. I guess I never really put it together-probably because I actually do like Dick as a character, but Veronica should hate his guts. Whether it's healthy or not to hold a grudge like that, it'd be really hard not to. Maybe I was just oblivious (could absolutely be the reason), but I didn't really see Veronica's dislike of Dick as anything more than contempt for someone she is disgusted by. Did I totally miss the boat on this one?

Uh, I thought I had more to say than that but I'm honestly exhausted and probably a little delirious.

I'm getting there...slowly, but surely! ( Few thoughts about mad men season five )

I'm going to start on season six as soon as I figure out the best way to watch it since it's not own Netflix. Hopefully AMC has it on demand or I'm going to have to buy the season on Amazon. I've gone back to Lost, and I swear I'm going to finish it this time! I got like halfway through season six last time and I was utterly confused. I had absolutely no clue what was going on. So I've started from season five (which I'm almost done with), and the whole time traveling bit is making a lot more sense. It's when we get to the temple in season six that I'm like huh? Hopefully in the second go I'll pay a lot more attention, and figure out what the hell is going on.

I wish we got to see more of Logan & Duncan's bro-mance. We get sneak peeks, but nothing really substantial. And I am a huge sucker for bro-mances.

Can anyone rec me a fic (or write me one *puppy eyes*) that takes place in the alternate universe in "Not Pictured"? Logan/Veronica, please. I was searching for LoVe long!fics, but there doesn't seem to be many out there, unfortunately.
