I am finally ready to post the next chapter of Playing Dirty!  First of all I want to thank my wonderful betas, slackerace and Sharon.  You guys have been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful.  The last time I posted a *new* chapter was about 4 1/2 years ago.  If you haven't read the previous chapters you can find them in my memories.  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed getting back into this story.  The remaining chapters are pretty angsty, but don't be too put off-it wouldn't be Spuffy without a happy ending :)  I found the banner below amongst my other images, but I am embarrassed to say I have no clue who it is made by.  If you made it, please let me know and I will give credit where it is due!

I'm really trying to get back into Playing Dirty. I know I had more chapters written, but I don't think that I have any of them saved anywhere so I'll have to get some creative juices flowing and get working! If you have never read this fic before you can look for the previous chapters in my memories. This is the last chapter I wrote before my verrrrry long hiatus. Please let me know if you are interested/reading this...I want to finish it for myself, but it'd be nice to know if anyone else is enjoying it!

Hi, all!

I know I've been the worst author/friend EVER!  I don't really have an excuse other than the fact that six months ago I started a new relationship and my boyfriend takes up a lot of my time.  I know that many of you have boyfriends/husbands/families and make time to write an entry more than every 21 weeks or so, but honestly I have lost some interest in the fandom and in my writing.  I have most of Playing Dirty written already so I will be more than happy to post the remaining chapters for you and hopefully finish the fic, because I too hate when authors fall off the face of the Earth and leave fics hanging.

I've noticed that a lot of people (SpikesKat, Deb, Bloodshedbaby, etc.) have cancelled their livejournals. Does anyone know why or what happened to everyone?

Please let me know if you even want me to continue posting this story because I'd rather not waste my time if no one is planning on reading it. Once again, I'm really sorry to leave you all for such a long time but I can't promise that I'm back.  

And, I wanted to wave hey to Sevvy.  Thanks for the comment/nudge you left me.  I don't really check my email anymore and I just got it.  You are actually the reason for this post.  Don't worry, nothing's wrong!  I hope all is going well with you and school.  If you have time to reply and let me know how you are doing I'd love to hear from you.

A little drabble set in Playing Dirty. 109 Words.

Buffy’s eyes followed him as he walked across the quad towards the English building. A faint flush crept along the back of her neck as she replayed the events of just that morning in her mind.

"Oh, God...Spike...Harder!"

She was deliciously sore in all the right places.

"I bet he’s kinky."

Lost in her daydream, she hadn’t heard her friends discussing the object of her lusty thoughts.

Anya continued, Faith nodding in agreement. "I’m talking whips and spanking and biting and..."

Buffy smiled secretively to herself, the bite mark he’d left on her shoulder tingling as she thought of their tryst in his office earlier that day.

I just want to say that in order to create the poll at the end of this post, I deleted everything I typed which was quite long and I have no time to redo it :(

Basically I was ranting about school and how I have to write an awful paper in history analyzing the authors' of my textbook when really I have no view on their input at all. I hate history!

Then I went on to talk about American Idol and my love/addiction for it. I love Simon, and I don't care if you don't! He speaks his mind and 99.9% of the time he's right! He doesn't need to get drunk/high and praise every karaoke singer like Paula. And is it just me or does Ryan Seacrest have a huge man-crush on Simon?! If Chris isn't this year's AI, I give up on that show...

Which brings me to fanfic. I have a bunch of plot bunnies running around in my head and on Word Perfect. I have a lot of "Chapter 1's" written, just to get the idea down and then it's like the idea is over, the lightbulb has gone out in my brain and I realize there is absolutely no plot there. Hence the poll. Please let me know which fic(s) you'd be most interested in reading. The sequel to Lie to Me which I think is going to be called Lie Still is a definite WIP-it's a "mystery" so I have to work out all the kinks in my 25 chapter outline before posting anything. It might take a while, but it'll definitely get done.
