Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar has been my idol for as long as I can remember. I was twelve years old when she started as Buffy Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I grew up watching Sarah play a strong female warrior, and she was such a positive role model for me and countless other girls/women. I’ve followed her career since then, supporting her in movies like Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer. I now look up to her because in real life she is very family oriented. She has a strong marriage to Freddie Prinze Jr., and two adorable children. She puts her family first, even if it isn’t always the best for her career. When I heard Sarah was coming back to television in Ringer I was beyond excited. The show was nowhere near as good as Buffy, but it was still nice to see Sarah on a weekly program again. There are rumors that Sarah will be starring in an upcoming half hour sitcom. I don’t know how well that will work out for her, and I would much prefer to see her in a cable series. Hopefully in the next five years we will see her back doing something as significant as Buffy.
