I was on tv.com, reading trivia and quotes from 'Chosen' (it was for a fic-I swear!) when I saw this one...

Buffy and Willow are the only two characters that have appeared in every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

...and wondered what episode Xander wasn't in?

You know something that bothers me...Is James said, when they were shooting "Gone" Sarah wasn't there. So, were they counting the parts she was in?

If memory serves, Xander the character was in every other episode, though Nicholas Brendon missed one because of illness, and his brother stood in for him (no speaking part to worry about).

Kelly (the brother) stood in for at least part of it, of that much I'm certain, but I believe that it was actually all. If memory serves, it was during season 5.
