An idea has finally blossomed for my seasonal_spuffy fic!  (THANK GOD!!)  I should be getting to work on that, but I have been engrossed in The Bittersweet Series by Herself for the last few days.  It's an old series, started in 2001, but I don't think I've ever read it before.  Or if I have, I don't remember.  I'm up to the second to last installment, and it is BREAKING MY HEART.  Oh, the angst!  If anyone hasn't read this series, I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND IT!!

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day Weekend.  I'm very sad to see summer come to an end, especially since all my friends and family had to go back to school or work today, and I'm unemployed and sitting around at home.  Time to put some serious effort into finding a job!

Herself is THE BEST. I have always loved "A Terrible Thing"

She was the first fanfiction I ever read and she spoiled me for everything else.

I can't wait to read more of her stories! When I say I've been engrossed in this series, it's a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT! I just can't stop reading, even though the installment I'm up to, Where They Have to Take You In (http://www.allaboutspike.com/fic.html?id=1091), is so angst-y, but at the same time SO REAL.

I was so happy to have such a great backstory for Spike. Plus - as I read more of Herself's fiction, I realized that she treated Spuffy well in a variety of different situations. They are still my go to stories.
