Buffy the movie casting picspam

I want to preface this post by saying, I DO NOT WANT THEM TO MAKE ANOTHER BUFFY MOVIE!!  I think it's a terrible idea, and it would suck beyond the telling of it.  But I was bored, and decided I'd do my own casting of who I think would fit each role.  I had a hard time with Anya, Oz and Giles.  This was all done in fun so if you disagree please don't be too harsh.  That being said, I'd like to know what you agree with and if you disagree who you'd think would be better suited for the role.

I can't agree with any of these choices, but I'm sure that's not a shock by now...lol! It's just hard for me to picture anyone else in those roles, I can't do it. I still don't think a Buffy movie is going to happen at all, but even if it did, it would be a remake of the original film, not the show. They can't touch that, so luckily none of our beloved characters would be replaced. Except for Buffy, but having anyone other than Sarah playing her is just unheard of.

Oh yeah I definitely agree, like I said it was just for my own fun. The only Buffy movie I wanna see if Joss-made with the real cast!

Ooh, wow, it's so hard to imagine anyone else playing those roles D: Dawn is one of my favorite characters and your Dawn is very pretty btw! Also, Andrew as Xander, unf, now that's something :D (Although Brendon will forever be the ultimate A++ choice of course :D)

I agree: NO NEW BUFFY MOVIE! And no one could ever replace any of what was on the show or in the comically horrible awful original movie. That said... I agree with most of your choices but I can't tell one actor or actress apart without naming their name on the show/movie they were in.
That said, Willow should be played using a Jewish/part-Jewish actress because her character needs it to be anywhere near the brilliance of the show's portrayal.
Unless they want to re-wright her history, Anya needs to be white because of her Scandinavian background (just-saying).
Seth Green (one of the few I do know the name of) must play Oz because their is NO ONE who can replicate his awesomeness ever (though it's okay to disagree, I just love his acting so).
And.. your choice for Giles made me smile big time; favorite CSI character ever☺♥!

- Sarah Hyland is white. IMDB says she's of Irish/Scottish/Dutch/Welsh descent. Maybe the coloring of my banner threw you off.

- ITA about Seth Green!! I was this close to not even casting Oz, but I couldn't leave him out.

- I had a really hard time with Giles. I feel like if there was a new movie, ASH could just play Giles - he's aging so well! First I thought of Sean Bean, but NOOOOOOO. William Petersen is a way better choice and I LOOOOOOOOOOVE Gil Grissom!

Am I ridiculously out of touch with current pop culture if I have no idea who half of these people are? The only ones I know are William Petersen, who I love, Kat Graham, Mila Kunis, Ellen Page, Cam Gigandet, and Monica Potter who I'm vaguely familiar with but can't remember where from, and all I know about Liam Hemsworth is that he's Chris' less attractive brother and that he somehow found himself in People's mostly lame sexiest men list for 2011.

Monica Potter is in Parenthood, and Liam Hemsworth is in The Hunger Games which comes out at the end of March. The others are all up-and-comers, and have been on various shows/movies.
