Syfy UK will air Buffy: The Greatest Episodes across two days starting on Saturday March 3rd.

The weekend special will be aired from 11am to 9pm on both Saturday and Sunday and will be presented by Anthony Head, who played Rupert Giles on the series back in the 1990′s. Buffy: The Greatest Episodes will feature the show’s top 20 episodes as voted for by the fans on syfy.co.uk.

Across the course of the weekend, Anthony Head will not only reveal the order of the top 20, he will also share his own personal anecdotes and insights on the featured episodes from his 6 years and 7 seasons playing Rupert Giles, Buffy’s ‘Watcher’, who guides and trains her.

I double checked the guide just in case, but this marathon isn't airing in the U.S.  Very jealous of you lucky UK'ers!!

SciFi/SyFy is really not my choice channel to watch Buffy, or anything, since they censor all sorts of stuff and really butcher episodes, editing out lines, parts of lines, parts of scenes etc.

I prefer watching my DVDs also, but I would've liked to hear what ASH has to say about the episodes the fans picked, and his thoughts on the series in general.

I watch Buffy on LOGO once in a while. And it's on Chiller pretty often as well. They do cut out things to make room for ads. I would rather watch my DVD box set.

I would love to see ASH and his take on the series. I enjoy hearing what the actors have to say about things that happened behind the scenes. Hopefully, this will air at a later date in the US.

I'd rather watch my DVDs too, it's the ASH that I'm sad to be missing out on :( I really hope it does air sometime in the US.
