Absolutely in love with this show, and so glad I started watching it. Kinda sad there's only 3 seasons for me to watch, though. Pretty sure Weevil's my favorite character. I just love how he shows up all the time as Veronica's backup. He's adorable, and I'm dying to know to what extent his relationship was with Lilly and when it's going to come out to everyone else (because at this point only Veronica knows, but Weevil doesn't know she knows).
So as the title of this post suggests I have fallen in love with Logan Echolls. It's been gradual, but at 6x18 it's official. And I bet you think it happened the moment outside the motel when he kissed Veronica, but you'd be wrong! It was a few minutes before that when he laid out "Agent Ben" AKA JTT. Side note: Love, love, LOVE all my favs as guest stars. First we have Alyson Hannigan who I thoroughly enjoyed. Then, Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried, Max Greenfield, STEVE NEWLIN from True Blood!
ANYWAY, I wanted to highlight the moment I fell in love with Logan with a kickass GIF but alas, I could not find one! I went through a whole lot of GIFS and saw lots of exciting LoVe scenes that are SPOILERS for me right now, but that I also can't wait to get to. Yeah, I think I shall be obsessing over these two for a while to come. Please, oh please, don't let it be Logan who roofied Veronica!

How could he be good at this point? He's seventeen, the only people we know he's slept with are Lilly, who sought a lot of outside company, and Paris Hilton. Ew. Also, Paris cheated on him with some other dude, which makes me think Logan is really, really bad in bed.
Add to that he's a spoiled rich kid who gravitated toward slutty girls who'd probably lie rather than give him pointers and we're talking the worst night of your life.
But I could be wrong. Maybe he reads a lot. I don't know.

Which would be a fantastic basis for a fan fic that I would read over and over again. Not that I'm begging you to write that or anything. Okay, I am.

Date: 2012-07-24 01:36 pm (UTC)I'm pretty sure Logan is supposed to be rather good in bed - Kendall is just doing it for fun with him, at first - and it's not like she was able to control him in any way, or that he was giving her any money. And I don't think Lily going with other guys was about her being sexually unsatisfied, Lily just liked to try everything with different people - if anything, if he had been bad in bed, she wouldn't have had patience with him, and they went out on and off for quite some time. Actually, there's a canon indication of whether Logan is good in bed or not, but I'm afraid it might be spoilery if you haven't seen that yet. :)

I have to respectfully disagree with you about Logan. I can definitely see your argument about Kendall, and she could totally be some creepy older woman looking for attention from young Logan. I'm just choosing to think he's awesome in bed. Kendall is gorgeous and could definitely find a guy worth sleeping with.

Date: 2012-07-23 09:44 pm (UTC)The show's creator, Rob Thomas, is a Buffy fan, and it shows. (Joss is in turn a VM fan - which is not doubt why there's a Veronica Mars reference in Buffy season 8.) Not only do some familiar faces pop up in VM, but you can make some comparisons between VM and BtVS characters (though only some of them). Season 1 romantic storylines are in some ways like Buffy's love life compressed into one season (only with far less sex and violence. The 09ers are kind of like vampires, of course. :)
