Okay, not the whole episode - just everything Stefan/Elena. Like WTF did I just watch? I needed some vid-therapy, and I'm sure some of you could use some too.

And I've been reading lots and lots of fanfic!

+ Sideways by goldenusagi. Spike's characterization was pretty unique IMO.
+ Crystal by Vanilla
+ Falling by kallysten

Next I want to read the Unexpected verse by Passion4Spike.  Are there any other classic Spuffy fics that I should've read, but haven't yet?  I also have a few TVD fics that I've been meaning to read.

I don't really ship on tvd, but I was disappointed in Elena's reactions to remembering those moments with Damon. Especially the one where he said that he didn't deserve her. Even if she still chose Stefan she still should have had more of a reaction. Ugh, at this point I'm really just interested in the relationship between the brothers and maybe Klaus and Caroline. I wish she'd give him more of a chance lol And I want Bonnie to have a real storyline this season.

AGREED! It annoys the hell outta me how the show shoves Elena/Stefan down our throats. Especially after everything that happened last season and in light of what she now knows about Damon. It's like ENOUGH ALREADY! Give us something new...Like Klaus/Caroline! I want to see it. I don't think by any means he deserves her which seems to be a huge opinion in fandom why she shouldn't be with him, but IDC. I wanna see it so give it to me show!

Have you checked out the Spuffy section of allaboutspike.com? I'd say they have about 75% of the really good classic Spuffy stories archived there.

No I haven't been over there. I think I've read The Bittersweet series over there, and possibly Annie Sewell-Jennings too. Thanks for the rec!

Haven't yet seen it - hope to tonight.

I have been counting the days, but also knew that it would be "all about Stefan" ... well Buffy was always all about "Angel" ... why can't the correct guy win!

I've been so excited for the premiere and then THIS is what they give us. So disappointing, but I'm still holding out hope for the rest of the season. At least Angel got his own show. Maybe it's time for a Stefan spin-off ;)
