Done with season four

I'm almost finished responding to all the comments from my meme post...thanks to everyone who left a comment it's kept me very busy!!  I'm very tired (and it's only 9:40 here...pathetic), but I just finished season 4 of Lost and wanted to share some quick thoughts.

First - I saw this, and think many of you will disagree. From what I gather, my f-list enjoyed season 3.

Second - Jin not making it to the helicopter was just THE WORST. Poor Sun! Her screaming from the helicopter, WATCHING HIM GET BLOWN UP was just heartwrenching. Her reaction was the best of anyone so far. Had me crying like a baby.

Which brings me to FUCKING BEN. Douchebag is responsible for Jin's death. Does this guy ever get what's coming to him? He watched his "daughter" get shot in the head because he thinks he's so clever. I wonder what shit he's bringing Jack into now...

Why was that such a short season? Only 14 episodes.

Gotta get season 5 from the library tomorrow. Really curious to see what the hell happened to the island, not to mention Sawyer and Claire.

Okay, like I said - very tired - so not too many thoughts this time. Season 4 was good overall, and the flashforwards got explained nicely. I thought the flashforwards were supposed to be post-series, but it makes more sense for it not to be that way.

Even the writers talk about how S3 wasn't as good, but yeah, I loved it and nobody can talk me out of it.

Jin's death was (is always) so painful because of Sun screaming her guts out. It still bothers me that Yunjin Kim didn't get an Emmy nom for S4.

Oh, yes, Ben getting Alex killed is one of those things that is so horrifying, and the way he plays it, you just don't know for sure how to take him. Ben is so great--he's so difficult! Michael Emerson did win a much deserved Emmy, either for S4 or S5, I can't remember.

The 4th season was short because of the writer's strike, but it also was the beginning of the end--Bad Robot made a deal with ABC for three shorter seasons to finish the series out after S3 because they needed an end date to work towards their story ending. So 5 & 6 are also shorter than first three, but not as short as S4.

Oh right, I completely forgot about the writer's strike. I'll be picking up season 5 today and watching as much as I can this weekend. THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!!

I thought season 3 was weaker than the others, but it still is amazing television and has one of the best finales that aren't series finales I've ever seen.

I will say that season 5 is my favorite. I really don't want to say more for fear of spoiling!

THIS IS SO AMAZING....Season 3 was very good for me. The first three seasons are so perfect...the whole show is something indescribable.

I love that you're loving it so much! :D Honestly I think Seasons 3 and 4 are the low points of the show but that didn't stop me from loving them still. Also I'm pretty sure Season 4 is so short because that was the one impacted by the writer's strike way back when.

Ben... oh Ben, my bb. He's actually my equal-favourite character with Sawyer :D He is so frustratingly horrible and yet you just want more from him. Maybe I see him differently but I just love him as a character, haha. He has a LOT of character growth over the next few seasons so see how you go with him! ;)
